GENERAL RELATIONS & MEDIA OFFICE

The University shows great interest in media because of the important role the University plays in spreading culture, knowledge, morals and preparing staff for different fields.
This office is a part of the Dean's official duties. It is concerned with directing everything Cihan University that has to do with planning, organization and follow-up. The office aims at presenting the appropriate environment to increase the participation of the university in the development of the society. The office also works to gain the support of social associations for its projects though informing the society of the college activities, its role and efforts and its noble goals inside and outside the college.
The main tasks of this office are:
1- Contacting the international universities and strengthening the cultural relations with them. The office also works on gaining information about the latest development in the academic fields.
2- Contacting the national media and providing them with sufficient information.
3- Following up everything that is spot-lighted about the college in the media.
4- Publishing periodicals.
5- Planning annual programs and general activities.
6- Organizing conferences, meetings, galleries, carnivals and parties, and participating in similar activities.
7- Publishing University advertisements in local and international media.

This office consists of the following sections:

Human Resource

This office organizes the administrative offices, saves documents and private files associated with the college. It is also concerned with organizing and updating employees' and staff paperwork.

REGISTRATION


This office has a number of employees who welcome students and inform them of the general rules and costs of study. The office also registers and organizes students into groups according to the academic departments.

Services Office


This office provides maintenance services, activation, safety and transportation for all the departments of the college. This office is responsible for activating ad maintaining air-conditioning systems and other electrical appliances according to maintenance programs provided periodically.

ACCOUNTANT

This office comes first of the other service departments in providing financial support to the college. There is qualified technical staff working in this office to achieve integrated development in the scientific and managerial aspects in the college.

Financial administrative tasks:

    1. Financial supervision regarding managerial tasks to ensure complete integration and best performance.
    2. Financial follow up for the best performance and right procedures in order to ensure their application.
    3. Supervising financial incomes of the college and developing the college resources and movement of funds and assets.
    4. Participation in preparing annual budget project of the college.
    5. Providing logistic items and services needed by the college.
    6. Preparing typical warehouse for storing all college needs according to depended procedures.

Preparing periodical reports about the performance of all departments in the college.

CAFETERIA

It provides comfortable environment for the students to have food, snacks and soft drinks. It also houses the cultural parties of the college.
